Today I fly out of SFO and go to Kazakhstan, where I start a new position working as a "Chevron secondee", as they call it. I will be on loan to Tengizchevroil (TCO). TCO is a partnership between Chevron, Exxon Mobil, and the government of Kazakhstan. Chevron is the operator and owns 50% of the business.
I plan on using this platform (blogger) to document the experience. We'll see how long that lasts!
